For one of Benchmark Broadcast’s most demanding and prestigious projects, the Doha-based news channel Al-Jazeera required uninterrupted broadcast services during the redevelopment of their three major studios and installation of new media asset management systems in one of the biggest broadcast integration projects in the MENA region ever. As sub-contractors working in collaboration with the main contractors Sony, Benchmark Broadcast was appointed for design and onsite engineering works. In the initial phases of the project more than 180 engineers worked day and night to deliver on agreed timelines in time for Al-Jazeera’s 21st Anniversary. Currently, a team of more than 35 from Benchmark Broadcast is working onsite on design, support and implementation.
