Benchmark Broadcast signed a landmark contract with MYTV Broadcasting, SE Asia’s largest Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) service provider. The five-year contract has appointed Benchmark Broadcast to manage MYTV’s headend site for their Digital Multimedia Broadcasting Hub (DMBH) and DRC services. This will ensure uninterrupted signal delivery to millions of households that subscribe to MYTV’s myFreeview service. Benchmark will also be working with MYTV closely to enhance their value-added services and facilitate international content for Malaysia’s diverse ethnic populations through network regionalisation.
