Benchmark Broadcast built a “flexible and future-ready” platform (Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Head, JAINHITS) for the Noida Software Technology Park Limited (NSTPL) venture to launch their first DTN platform service, JAINHITS. The latest video broadcast technologies were incorporated at a multi-million dollar central HITS headend which was also equipped with a fully automated monitoring system for quality control of telecast channels; a fully redundant Central Equipment Room (CER) with different sets of compression and RF equipment; a Conditional Access System (CAS); an Electronic Program Guide (EPG)and a Subscriber Management System (SMS). Benchmark Broadcast was part of this first-of-its-kind endeavour in the region which monitors and distributes channels to different types of cable operators through a single satellite antenna and trans-modulators using their existing cable network.
