Benchmark Broadcast managed the monitoring and distribution of over 200 TV channels and FM radio stations along with the installation and integration of supporting technology for NXT Digital, a HITS digital service brand owned by the Mumbai-based conglomerate, the Hinduja Group. In order to compete with other DTH players, NXT Digital was equipped with 500 MPEG-4 encrypted channels and local channel insertions through standard and high-definition set-top-boxes (STBs). This project capitalised on Benchmark Broadcast’s track record in successful system integration and experience in rolling out world-class headend-based digital TV services.
