Purpose of the Role:

As a Broadcast Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the availability, performance, and safety of the broadcast systems integrated by Benchmark Broadcast Systems. The primary role will involve providing support and installations, ensuring our clients receive top-notch service. Additionally, you will be encouraged to collaborate with our design team based on project needs and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Delivery: Professionally log, document, and prioritize incidents and service requests. Communicate progress effectively and respectfully to customers.
• Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical incidents within agreed service level timeframes, coordinating with internal departments and external organizations as needed.
• Operational Support: Monitor and maintain technical equipment to required standards, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Technical Advice: Provide technical support to users and colleagues, offering input on new products and processes.
• Change Management: Comply with change control procedures, adapting methodologies to meet evolving priorities.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Essential: 2 to 3 years experience with broadcast/IT systems in live TV, Radio, or multi-media environments, or relevant qualifications. Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues effectively.
• Desirable: 2 to 3 years experience in diagnosing and resolving complex problems across various broadcast systems. Client-facing experience with excellent customer service skills.
• Advantageous: Ability to thrive in a demanding customer service environment, identifying and meeting customer requirements effectively.
